Your property. Your requirements.
A London contact for property security
C&C Security Systems is a family-run business established in 1984. Our shop is at 54 Herbert Road, London SE18 3SH, and we serve homes and businesses across London, Kent, Essex and Surrey. Contact the team to discuss a new installation, existing equipment or ongoing maintenance.
Use the service pages to identify the most relevant starting point. An enquiry does not require a complete technical specification. A postcode, property type and explanation of what you want to improve are enough to begin a useful conversation about the next step.
Match the company to the work required
Before comparing providers, define the services you need. An intruder alarm, CCTV installation and access-control project involve different decisions. Explain whether the enquiry concerns one service, several connected requirements or equipment that is already installed.
C&C designs, installs and maintains security systems within the scope described on this website. Monitoring and maintenance arrangements can be discussed alongside installation. Ask the quotation to distinguish those ongoing services from the equipment and work, so that the proposal is understandable as a whole.
Check accreditation against its scope
Our NSI NACOSS Gold approval covers the design, installation and maintenance of intruder alarms, CCTV and access control. The accreditation section provides the certificate for you to review. Its scope is more informative than a logo considered on its own.
Approval should not be taken to mean that every possible installation automatically satisfies every insurer or property manager. Supply written requirements before the proposal is agreed. If a requirement is unclear, ask the party setting it to clarify what applies to your premises.
Look for a clear quotation process
An initial conversation helps establish the property and the required work. Depending on the information available, we can usually discuss an initial estimate by telephone or arrange a survey. Tell us about existing equipment and any practical constraints on access.
When you receive a quotation, compare the specification and scope rather than only the headline price. Check the areas covered, controls or recording functions, installation work and optional services. Ask questions before deciding if any item is unclear or does not seem connected to the requirements you described.
Consider the experience after installation
The people using the system need to understand normal operation. Arrange for the responsible user to participate in handover and keep the operating information available. A business may need to nominate an administrator; a household may need more than one person to understand the everyday controls.
Discuss maintenance and the contact arrangements for the services you select. We consider existing alarms fitted by other installers, subject to the equipment and proposed work. Explain the current arrangement when requesting a review, including any monitoring or maintenance agreement already in place.
Use customer feedback in context
Our client reviews page contains clearly identified summaries of published feedback about quotation, installation and support. They describe individual customer experiences, rather than promising that every job will follow an identical timescale or outcome.
For your own project, tell us the property postcode and the work you are considering. Call 020 3553 2364 during the published opening hours or use the enquiry route. The team can discuss a proposal based on your premises, with a free quotation to help you decide how to proceed.
