Explain the building arrangement
For a New Cross enquiry, identify whether the work concerns an entire property, one flat or a business within a larger building. A shared front entrance, private rooms and outside equipment positions may have different owners or managers. Tell us who can approve each part of the proposed installation.
If occupants or tenants have recently changed, explain what systems remain and what documentation is available. A control or handset inside your premises does not necessarily mean you can authorise changes to the shared system behind it. Establishing that responsibility early makes the quotation more useful.
Follow the service that addresses the difficulty
The New Cross alarm page covers detection and operating routines. The CCTV page focuses on useful views and access to recordings. If callers cannot reach the right person, or staff access is difficult to manage, describe that entry problem so the relevant service can be considered.
For a mixed-use property, distinguish commercial opening hours from residential occupation. Systems should reflect those different uses rather than assume the whole building follows one schedule. Existing equipment can be assessed against the current arrangement.
Coordinate the practical work
Include your postcode, role and preferred timescale. Mention a managing agent, shared routes, restrictions on drilling or any relevant property designation. Lewisham provides conservation information to help identify address-specific constraints. C&C can discuss an initial estimate or arrange a survey and provide a free quotation. Ask the proposal to explain the work within your premises, any separately agreed shared work and optional continuing services.
