Consider the view during normal activity
For CCTV at a Peckham business, explain the entrance, customer-facing area or delivery point you want to view. Displays, open doors and vehicles can change the scene. For a home, identify the specific approach or doorway rather than asking to record as much surrounding space as possible.
If a view includes communal access, establish responsibility for the space and consult relevant ICO guidance about the proposed operation. Installation permissions and recording responsibilities are related questions, but agreeing one does not automatically settle the other.
Include the building constraints
