Choose views before camera positions
For CCTV at a Beckenham home, begin with the areas you need to understand: a caller at the door, access beside the house or movement near a garage. A single wide view may not show the detail you expect at every distance. Tell us which view matters most, then discuss the camera position and specification against that task.
If appearance is a concern, say so at the start. Cable routes, mounting points and the recorder location are part of the installation brief, not details to leave until equipment arrives. Relevant building restrictions should also be checked before external positions are agreed.
Include changing conditions

Ask what recording equipment, storage and remote-viewing setup the quotation includes. If any chosen feature depends on a subscription or connection, make sure that is clear. At handover, test normal viewing and playback with the authorised user.
